About

Rayan Althonian received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in August 2019 from KFUPM with second honors. He is primarily interested in Electronics, image processing, automation, IoT and AI.

During his academic journey, he worked on several projects:

• An IoT Based Standalone Home Energy Management System
• Generation Expansion Planning (GEP) for the Saudi Power System
• Design of FIR filters for FM Modulation Scheme

Rayan also participated in a number of students clubs and initiatives:

• IEEE SB
• Innovation Club
• An introductory Lecture to Electrical Engineering
• Member of KFUPM Delegation to Germany

Aside from this, Rayan is a solo traveler who is currently in a mission to visit every single country out there.
